Stories from across Camden County’s rich history deserve to be told boldly, proudly, and accurately. For over a century, the Camden County Historical Society has preserved our region’s heritage, through archival resources and historic objects.

Now, we are building something extraordinary: the American Revolution Museum of Southern New Jersey, located in the historic Benjamin Cooper house in Camden City, a site once occupied by British forces during the Revolutionary War. This museum will become a vibrant center for immersive storytelling about often untold histories of the American Revolution in Southern New Jersey.
